Director Robert Prendergast and his wife Patricia Prendergast first opened the company in Sydney NSW, where they proved their skills, excellence and quality as soon as they opened their doors by manufacturing specialised screws for the Sydney Opera House. After many years in the NSW Market, Robert and Patricia loaded 7 semi-trailers trucks full of equipment and machines, packed up the family and several workers to the Gold Coast QLD in 1989 to continue to improve their strength and to pursue new opportunities. Due to the reputation and experience of our company, we have improved the standards of quality, increased our extensive range of goods available and have produced world class products since 1969.
Today, the 3 Prendergast Children (Nat, Debbie & Kelly) along with Robert have taken the company to a new level of manufacturing with the help of the latest technology and also the 25 staff they have supporting them. With the latest Lathes, Prendergast Fasteners Pty Ltd has assured and secured its place in the future.
