Part of their recent enhancements includes the installation of their first Okuma CNC lathe.  This new machine will expand the workshop capabilities and further enhance their competitiveness.

Josh Budd, Managing Director of McNeall Plastics says, “I’m excited at what this will deliver to our customers. Installing the Genos will further enhance our machining capability to provide customers a final high precision-machined component, using the latest turning and milling technology, while also being price competitive.

McNeall Plastics has been the industry leader of Australian made engineering plastics for the past 50 years, and the addition of this new equipment will further ensure we exceed our customer requirements for precision components.”

Steve Norbis, Northern Regional Manager NSW & QLD, adds “The Genos L3000-eMY x 1000 with OSP-P300LA-e is the perfect first CNC lathe.  Okuma’s unique IGF programming system is very easy to operate for first-time users.  The addition of the Y-axis plus 1 metre between centres also gives McNeall Plastics greater flexibility and more capabilities to meet their customers’ expectations.  This machine is a good all-rounder”.

The GENOS L3000-e CNC horizontal lathe offers the broadest range of configurations in the GENOS lathe line - affordable, entry-level, multi-function lathes that are anything but basic.
